A self-supporting 501(c)3 non-profit, the California Museum — home of the California Hall of Fame — engages, educates and enlightens people about California’s rich history, its diversity and its unique influence on the world of ideas, innovation, art and culture. Through interactive experiences, the Museum inspires visitors to make a mark on history.

On-street parking is available in metered on street spaces during the Museum’s regular business hours Tuesday through Sunday. On weekdays and Saturdays, parking is also available in the hourly garage located at 1500 10th Street across the street from the Museum (now accepts credit card in addition to cash).
Tour buses may park in the bus loading zone located next to the Museum along 10th Street starting at the corner of O Street
The Museum is located at the Archives Plaza Light Rail stop. Please visit Sacramento Regional Transit’s online trip planning portal for schedules and fares.
