19th Annual California Hall of Fame
On March 19 2026, a new class of extraordinary individuals took their well-deserved places in the California Hall of Fame, joining over 170 previously inducted Californians whose achievements have made history and changed the state, the nation and the world.
The 19th class consists of trailblazers whose achievements embody California’s spirit of resilience and creativity—and shine a spotlight on Los Angeles as a global hub of culture and innovation.

- John L. Burton, Legendary legislator and social justice advocate
- Jamie Lee Curtis, Beloved Hollywood star
- Riane Eisler, Groundbreaking systems scientist, cultural historian and futurist
- Janet Evans, Swimming great and Olympic trailblazer
- Carl Lewis, Track and field superstar
- Mariachi Reyna de Los Ángeles, First all-women mariachi ensemble in the U.S.
- Nobu Matsuhisa, World-renowned sushi chef and restaurateur
- Terry McMillan, Bestselling author
- Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hollywood icon, champion bodybuilder and 38th Governor of California
Onsite Exhibition
Explore the lives and legacies of the 19th class of California Hall of Fame in an all-new artifact exhibit featuring photos and memorabilia on loan from the 19th Class!
Induction Ceremony
Hosted by Governor Gavin Newsom and First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom at the California Museum, the 19th class induction ceremony was held on March 19, 2026 at 7 pm.
Members of the public are invited to view a recording of the ceremony on the Museum’s YouTube channel.
