Pablo Espinoza
Pablo Espinoza is Special Projects Media Consultant for the Speaker of the Assembly/Democratic Office of Communications and Outreach. Prior to his current position, Espinoza served as Deputy Director of the Speaker’s Office of Member Services (SOMS) under Assembly Speakers Fabian Nuñez and Karen Bass.
Espinoza transitioned to the California State Assembly after a 14 year career as a broadcast journalist for NBC, CBS and Univision in markets including San Antonio, Waco, Fresno and Sacramento, where he was an anchor, political reporter and host of the network’s statewide public policy program, “Voz y Voto.” He has been the recipient of numerous journalism awards, including two Emmys. In addition, he has written for national publications including Television Week and Sports Illustrated.
Currently serving on the Board of Directors of Broadway Sacramento and Street Soccer USA. Espinoza has also served on the Board of the Institute for Local Government, Sacramento Press Club, the Latino Democratic Club and the Media Advisory Board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Espinoza’s favorite title is father of his two sons, Adrian and Nico. He currently resides in Elk Grove, CA.
