Celebrate the new exhibit Arte de Inspiración: Dia de los Muertos 2024 at the California Museum’s annual Día de los Muertos Fiesta on Sat., Oct. 12!

Highlights include:

• Opening of the new exhibit Arte de Inspiración: Dia de los Muertos 2024
• Appearances by exhibit artists Krisztianna, Adrian Arias and John Hancock & Juan Ramos
• Mayahuel food, drinks and snacks for sale
• Maquilli Tonatiuh Aztec Dancers performance and ceremonial blessing
• Live music by the Latin dance tribute band Maya
• Dance by Ballet Folklorico de Sacramento
• Sugar Skull Workshops (Advance registration opens Aug. 1. Will likely sell out!)
• Mercado de los Muertos featuring pop up shops from John S. Huerta Arte and other local artists and artisans (vendor application window has now concluded)
• Hands-on activities for kids suitable for ages 3 & up
• Special group photo for costumed guests that will be shared on the Museum’s social media. Sorry, no contest this year.
• More fun for the entire family & all ages — don’t miss it!

Save time in line by purchasing advance food and drink tickets as an add-on to event tickets through 2 pm Thurs., Oct. 10. Food and drink tickets also can be purchased at the event starting at 5 pm on Sat., Oct. 12, payable by cash, debit and credit card.
