Anne-Marie Petrie
Anne-Marie Petrie is enjoying retirement following her career in media and entertainment. She served as CBS Radio’s Vice President and National Political Director for nine years, during which time she led national and statewide political advertising for CBS’s 126 stations in 27 major markets. Previously, she was Director of Business Development for CBS Radio in California. She has developed a solid base of relationships with national political strategists, campaign managers, California businesses and government leaders in order to facilitate fundraising efforts and achieve political goals.
Anne-Marie has garnered extensive experience in non-profit fundraising, political public relations, radio sales, and distribution in the broadcast and Hollywood entertainment industries. Anne-Marie’s prior public service includes board memberships with WEAVE (Women Escaping A Violent Environment), B Street Theatre, Sacramento Kings Women’s Organization, Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue, and the California Musical Theatre. She currently serves as chair of the California Museum’s Board of Trustees, and is an Executive Advisory Council Member for the UC Davis Eye Center’s new Ernest E. Tschannen Eye Institute.
A native New Yorker, Anne-Marie began her career onstage as an actress and a dancer in New York City. She is a graduate of Boston University, and makes her home in Sacramento with husband Geoff, and their golden retrievers.
