Press Conference: Congresswoman Matsui Highlights ¡Pleibol! Exhibit at California Museum

On Monday, November 4th at 10:00 a.m., Congresswoman Doris Matsui (CA-07), the California Museum, and the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held a press conference to celebrate the launch of ¡Pleibol! In the Barrios and the Big Leagues.

¡Pleibol! In the Barrios and the Big Leagues is a Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition that will be hosted by Sacramento’s California Museum from October through to January 19, 2025. The exhibit shows how generations of Latinos and Latinas have helped make baseball the game it is today. Their inspirational stories gesture toward larger themes in American history that connect us all, on and off the diamond.
