Big Day of Giving

Big Day of Giving is on May 1 – Early Giving Opens on April 17

Help us reach our goal during Big Day of Giving, the annual community-wide fundraiser for Sacramento-region nonprofits. As a nonprofit 501(c)3, the California Museum relies on community support to maintain our exceptional exhibits and programs that bring history, culture, and learning to life.

Your donation will:
  • Provide scholarships for students from Title I schools to experience our field trip programs; youth in need to attend our California Time Traveler Summer Camp; and underserved families to access California Museum exhibits and programming year-round.
  • Support upcoming exhibits on California’s rich history, arts and culture of diversity.
  • Allow for free public admission to our September celebration of California’s 175th birthday.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. If we reach our $23,000 goal by May 1, 2025, we’ll host a free admission day later this year! Join us in preserving and celebrating California’s vibrant heritage!
