Bring California history, arts and culture alive
with a FREE field trip from Target®
Learning opportunities extend far beyond the classroom. But many schools are finding it more and more difficult to bring students to museums and cultural organizations.
Thanks to a generous grant from Target®, The California Museum is pleased to offer Think Outside the Classroom scholarships funding transportation and admission for qualifying schools, helping to fulfill our mission to provide children unique, first-hand learning experiences and educational tools that bring California’s history, arts and culture alive.
The Think Outside The Classroom scholarship program includes:
- Bus transportation, student admission and one chaperone for every 10 students admission.
- Funding available for 1,000 qualifying students currently enrolled at a Sacramento City Unified School District Title 1 school during the 2011-2012 school year.
- Free goodie bag for each participating student including a California Bear Flag kit and Target® pencil set for further learning back in the classroom.
APPLY TODAY! Scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis.
